4) Start Page → Informants:

8) Start Page → Map Corpus:

A white table with two columns appears (against the background of a previously selected map), containing the numbers and titles of the maps of ALD-I (884) or ALD-II (1066) according to the standards of both printed editions. 10) Result (for ALD-I):

A white table with all transcriptions available at this location (in the ALD-Standard writing system) in alphabetical order appears. The top rows of this table contain the transcriptions available at the clicked location.

  • Each of the lines below the magnifying glass symbol can be clicked: then the number of the map where the respective transcription is located appears. The visible numbers correspond to those of the printed work.
  • Clicking on one of the very top lines: a white window (with blue sonograms and blue listening buttons) appears, allowing the targeted listening to all transcriptions of this map.

11) Continuation:

In the longest of the blue operating rectangles, the number of the found map of ALD-I and the transcription of the clicked location are displayed.

During the listening, within a gray square, a red crossbar moves along the sonogram. This red crossbar can be moved arbitrarily with the mouse arrow. This allows the exact match of heard sound and displayed transcription. During playback, the relevant sound sequence can be listened to again (or as often as desired) by resetting the red crossbar with the mouse arrow. In this way, other listenings can be triggered over the entire length of the sonogram using the mouse arrow.

12) Setting “Map Corpus” (for ALD-II):

A white table with two columns appears (against the background of a previously selected map), containing the numbers and titles of the maps of ALD-II (1066) according to the standards of the printed edition.

The top rows of this table contain the transcriptions of the location clicked on the selected map. Clicking on one of the “Single tokens” displays the number of the respective map. The visible numbering corresponds to those of the printed work.

However, clicking on the topmost transcriptions opens a white window divided into three columns, which refers to a specific location and a specific map of ALD-II. The visible numbering corresponds to those of the printed work. At the bottom of this table are all elements for listening to the respective map (half) of ALD-II. See the notes given here under 11).

  • Especially important are the blue marked icons (“PDF”) for consultation (and for occasional downloading) of various lists (in different structures) and even the black form of an entire map. This possibility is only available with ALD-II.
  • Finally, it is possible to return to the full view of the respective map via the blue icon “To the Map” located at the bottom left. There, the previously clicked transcriptions appear in red.
